I qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2020.
My career journey began in the purchase ledger department of a drinks company, then progressed to roles in Aerospace and the Charity Sector as a bookkeeper. I later transitioned into retail, where I worked as a Finance Supervisor and Tax Accountant. From there, I moved into the role of Finance Manager for an SME, where I led and developed the finance team, playing a key part in the company’s growth. I then advanced to a Financial Controller position and have since transitioned into an exciting new sector - law, where I’m eager to embrace the learning opportunities and challenges ahead.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending weekends on the Netball court or helping my husband with home renovations. We also love having family outings with our son. During the week, I stay active by going to the gym or playing netball. Occasionally, I visit the local Bingo hall, a tradition I shared with my Grandma. In my downtime, I enjoy dining out with friends or simply relaxing with Netflix.
